It’s always good to learn from the best, and few writers have had the success of Bafta award winner Bob Baker, whose career spans many genres, shows and fictional universes – including Doctor Who.
As the co-creator (with Dave Martin) of K9, Baker added a key element to Doctor Who during its 1970s peak. Beyond Doctor Who – where with Dave Martin he wrote six serials between 1971 and 1977 before contributing a further three scripts solo – his other credits include television scripts for Bergerac, Z Cars, Shoestring and Thick As Thieves.
- The Claws of Axos (1971)
- The Mutants (1972)
- The Three Doctors (1973)
- The Sontaran Experiment (1975)
- The Hand of Fear (1976)
- The Invisible Enemy (1977)
- Underworld (1978)
- The Armageddon Factor (1979)
- Nightmare of Eden (1979)
